The crossroads have come in the Comic industry. There are different reasons for this happening, everything from a failing economy, to technology is playing a significant role in this uncertainty. The industry was doing very well during covid, and now in the Post covid phase, it has shown signs of slowing down quite a bit. The two Comic book shops that I sell Dilly in are having the same issues and problems with sales, it has basically plateaued and dropped, this is in relation to print sales. Online seems to be a different story and now raises the question of whether or not Comic book shops will be able to survive and stay in business. This shift in how younger generations are reading comics now is the determining factor. If you walk into a Comic shop, the majority of people buying comics, are Boomers and Gen Xers such as myself. Hopefully this trend is only temporary, we shall have to wait and see.
