Learning How To Draw Other People's Art
Continuous education is extremely important as an artist/cartoonist. The best way of educating yourself, is by learning to draw the art of famous cartoonists, ( Charles Schultz, Jim Davis, Mort Walker, Brian Crane, Don Martin etc.). This will allow you to learn the concept of how art is drawn and how the professionals approached and performed it. I recommend a few times a week at least, picking a Cartoon, Comic, or Video game character and draw them. This will help you in your art and give you the skills to create your style more effectively.
